Since 2015, the Artist of the Month program has featured customer artwork on a monthly basis, giving artists a tangible way to share their craft with the world. What Is the Artist of the Month?

For each month, CatPrint chooses one artist’s work to showcase as Artist of the Month. That artwork gets not only social media promotion but a place of honor in print—literally. The selected design is produced as a small print that’s included for free in orders containing comic art and illustration. Plus, the winning artist receives 50 free prints to share with friends and family, a heartfelt bonus that brings their art into the hands of loved ones.

Submission Guidelines: What to Keep in Mind

🎨 To stand out and be eligible:

What	Details
Include an animal in your artwork	🐈 especially cats, which get preference
Ensure it’s "safe for work"	follow CatPrint’s content guidelines
It must be original	no AI-generated art allowed—and free of copyrighted or trademarked elements
File Requirements	Prepare it as a print-ready, flattened PDF, sized at 5″ × 7″ with at least 300 DPI resolution
